Here’s the thing: The book that will most change your life is the book you write.
—Seth Godin
I’ve been writing in the dark for a long time. This space is me finally lighting a candle.
Welcome to The Writer Life — my corner of the internet where I’ll be sharing pieces of the novel I’ve been quietly building, the chaos of editing it, and everything I’ve learned (and unlearned) along the way. Think of this as part writing diary, part workshop, part heirloom-in-progress.
The book I’m working on is dark and character-driven. It’s about legacy, survival, and the brutal things people do when love and power collide. There are castles. There are secrets. There are broken people trying so hard to be whole. Writing it has changed me.
I’ve been writing stories for as long as I can remember — scribbling in notebooks, obsessing over fictional characters, building worlds that stretched on endlessly. Someday I hope to publish this novel. And if you’re reading this now, just know: you were here before the book ever hit shelves. You’re part of this from the beginning.
But this space isn’t just about the story. It’s about process — the late-night drafting, the voice notes I leave myself on walks, the scenes I almost delete and then fight to keep. It’s about the parts of writing we don’t always talk about: doubt, joy, obsession, and all the strange little rituals that keep us going.
If you’re a writer, a reader, or just someone who believes stories can still matter — you’re so welcome here.
The candle’s lit now. Let’s see what it burns.
